Camp Elderberry - A Lincoln Options Tradition
Camp Elderberry is the culminating community event of the school year, and a long-standing tradition at Lincoln. It is an all-school, day-long excursion to Panhandle Lake. The tradition of heading out for a day in the outdoors, learning, creating and reinforcing community ties has been part of the Options Program for over 20 years.
The evening meal is an all-school potluck followed by fifth grade graduation.
Many families choose to stay and camp out overnight. This day would not be possible without lots of parent participation.
