Families living in the Lincoln Service Area* and siblings of currently enrolled students, who are entering at kindergarten level are not required to participate in the lottery, but can register directly into the Lincoln Options Program through the school office. We also welcome new families in the Olympia School District residing outside the Lincoln Service Area who are interested in our alternative program. A lottery, which takes place in the spring, determines the priority for enrolling new students.
We ask that all new families attend one of the following Enrollment Information Night meetings to help in making an informed decision about whether the Options Program is the right fit for their needs. At the meeting, families will learn more about the Options program, philosophy, and family involvement opportunities. They also will learn about the lottery process, and have an opportunity to meet the staff and ask questions.
2026 Upcoming Enrollment Information Nights
Thursday, March 5, 6 – 8 p.m.
Wed, March 11, 6 – 8 p.m.
Location: Lincoln Options Cafeteria, 213 21st Ave SE. The cafeteria is located on the lower level and is accessed from doors closest to the parking lot.
Come learn more about our options program and community! You will hear from our Options Community Council (OCC) president, school principal, and a panel of teachers. Our enrollment team will also present info on the lottery process and how to apply.

Observation week:
March 16-19th between 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.
Location: Check in at the Lincoln Office
Guardians/Parents are also invited to observe classrooms. We ask that only adults attend to observe classrooms to minimize disruption to the learning environment.
Assembly:
Friday, March 20th, 8:45-9:20am
Location: Lincoln Gym
Families are also welcome to attend Lincoln’s weekly assembly on Friday, March 20th, which gives a picture of the culture of our school. To attend the assembly, please arrive early as you must sign in at the office and get a visitor name badge.
Children must be five years old on or before August 31 to attend kindergarten and participate in the lottery.
