Lincoln Chickens
The Lincoln Garden is home to a flock of laying hens! Students have opportunities to help feed and water the hens as well as collect the eggs. The chickens eat left over classroom snack bits and help clean up the garden. The kids learn about taking care of animals and about sustainability.

The eggs are used for class cooking projects. All of the eggs used in the Harvest Festival pumkin pies come from Lincoln's chickens.
